A Comprehensive Study in the Natural World
In the variety of programs we offer, we have addressed academic, Community Activity Service and Theory of Knowledge (TOK) goals that are inherent in the IB Holistic approach. We also provide opportunities to choose interesting and exciting Extended Essay topics that can be researched here.
Academic Assessment Statements
Each activity has been carefully designed and great attention has been placed on identifying IB assessment standards for both Higher and Standard Level students.
Depending upon length of stay, you can choose which Assessment Statements for the topics listed below you would like students to experience during their time at the Environmental Education Center. We are happy to help you design a customized itinerary that best meets your instructional needs. Once you book your visit, we will supply you with activity information and worksheets for the students.

Community Activity Service
Ocean Adventure is fully committed to Community Activity Service. We have multiple projects ongoing that support various community initiatives including:
- The betterment of the indigenous Aeta community
- Programs for special needs children and adults
- Support for the Wildlife In Need Foundation
- The rescue and rehabilitation of whales, dolphins and dugongs
- A leadership role in the Philippine Marine Mammal Stranding Network
- Protection, rescue and rehabilitation of sea turtles
- A reintroduction program for Long-tailed Macaques rescued from the pet trade
- Coral reef monitoring and protection
- Forest monitoring and protection
- Public educational programs that address a variety of environmental issues
Here at the Environmental Education Center we work with you to custom design a program that meets your classroom needs. The opportunities include the following areas of interest: animal behavior, wildlife biology and management, marine biology and ecosystems, indigenous cultures, veterinary medicine, forest ecology and management, environmental sciences, and conservation biology.

Forest and Marine Adventures
Camayan Beach Resort
Camayan Beach Resort is located right next door to Ocean Adventure and offers comfortable accommodations and delicious meals for school groups. Other amenities include beach-side restaurant and large meeting room, lovely beach and safe swimming area monitored by life guards, coral reef for snorkeling and scuba diving, master divers to oversee underwater activities, full service dive shop, boat cruise, bike and kayak rentals, beach games, special night-time events, beach parties, and much more.
The Discover Coral Reefs Program is conducted on the beach at the Resort. Special accommodation and meal packages are available for school groups.
